Zariayah Brown, 1, and Deon Brown, 3, were taken by their mother, Tivice Brown, 21, and the mother’s boyfriend, Ahzariyah Yasharahla, 25. The Brown children were on a supervised visit with their mother at the DHSH office in Tacoma. Tivice Brown and Yasharahla ignored the supervisor and walked out of the building with the kids.

An Amber Alert was issued for Zariayah Brown and Deon Brown. The kids were removed from the DSHS office in Tacoma.

The DSHS supervisor and security guards did not have the authority to detain Brown and Yasharahla. The DSHS removed the kids because they believed they were subjected to extensive abuse. Yasharahla’s mother, Agatha Hill, said her son would be talking to police on Wed night, Feb 18. Police would not confirm this.
