Zac Sunderland: Zac Sunderland youngest solo sailor around the world (photos)

Zac Sunderland, 17, is the youngest sailor who has sailed around the world solo. Sunderland completed his journey in 13 months. Sunderland, from Thousand Oaks, California, was assisted with backup mechanical help from his father, a shipwright. Mr Sunderland met his son at various ports around the world to help repair Zac’s boat.
