Bahia Bakari: Bahia Bakari Yemen Airline crash survivor (videos)
By Therese Lisieux on June 30th, 2009Updated June 30 – Bahia Bakari, 14, was rescued from the sea. Bakari may be the sole survivor of the plane crash. Bakari had facial bruises and an injured elbow. Bakari told her father she was ejected from the plane and found herself in the water. Bakari heard voices of other passengers but could not see anyone in the darkness. Bakari clung on to a piece of plane debris to float until the rescuers found her 13 hours later.

Yemen Airline crash happened in the Indian Ocean. About 153 people went missing in the Yemen airline crash. The Airbus A310 Yemen Airline crash debris and some dead bodies were recovered.
Around 142 passengers and 11 crew were on board when the Yemen Airline crash occurred while the plane flew from Yemen, at the Arabian Peninsula, to Comoros. Many passengers were residents of Comoros.
