Amina Said and Sarah Said may have died in an Honor Killing in America. Amina Said, 18, and Sarah Said, 17, of Texas, were fatally shot and left in a rented cab, on Jan 1, 2008. Sarah Said was dying when she called 911 and allegedly identified her killer as her father, Yaser Said, aka Yasser Abdel Said.
Yaser Said, born in Egypt, was once married to Patricia, for 20 years. Patricia described her marriage as being violent because Yaser was abusive.
Yaser had an American wife named Tissy. Tissy said Yaser may have killed his daughters Amina and Sarah because they dated non Muslim men, while their religion was Islam. Yaser Said allegedly killed Amina and Sarah to avenge his honor as his daughters betrayed their religion.
Police and the FBI are searching for Yasser Abdel Said.
