Yasar Bayrak, 37, hid in a large FedEx box and the unsuspecting driver loaded the box into the van and drove Yasar Bayrak to freedom. Bayrak left the van when the driver made a stop at a destination. The driver saw that his van’s door was open and he raised the alarm but Bayrak was nowhere to be found.

Yasar Bayrak escaped from the German prison in Willich near Dusseldorf, western Germany, on Nov. 10. Yasar Bayrak has been missing ever since. Bayrak was described as a conman of Turkish origin.

Yasar Bayrak has used other alias like Ibrahim Yasin, 42, and Hans Lang, 42. However, police believe he may have created a new identity for himself.
