Rachel Hylton, one of the contestants in X Factor, has dropped out of Team Minogue. Rachel Hylton has fired Dannii Minogue as her mentor. Rachel Hylton had dropped down to the bottom two positions. The rumors said Hylton blamed Dannii’s poor song choices. Simon Cowell tried to talk to Hylton to defuse the situation but she has refused to reconsider.

A source told The Mirror that Hylton felt Dannii Minogue was giving her the wrong tracks to sing which were unsuitable for her voice. The X Factor spokesman, Rachel Hylton and Dannii Minogue played down the change. Hylton said she wanted freedom in her choices of songs. Hylton will continue on her own. She will be the first contestant to dump a mentor and stump it alone.
