Woman infested with maggots: Linda Sue Sainz condition serious
By Therese Lisieux on December 3rd, 2008This is the latest news on the woman infested with maggots.
The woman infested with maggots, Linda Sue Sainz, was a retired Galveston County Sheriff’s deputy. She became known as the woman infested with maggots when someone called 911 and alerted medical staff to send an ambulance to fetch his mother ill with bed sores. The male caller claimed to be the 38 year old son of Linda Sue Sainz, the woman infested with maggots.
Police are looking for Sainz’s son, but declined to release his name. Police found Linda Sue Sainz barely alive and they saw she was a woman infested with maggots.
Linda Sue Sainz was described as having health problems but refused to seek medical attention. Sainz, 62, lived with her son, who cared for her while her retirement money paid for their bills. Police have subpoenaed her health records. Sainz’s eldest son, Aaron Martelli, 43, of Santa Fe, claimed he spoke to her on the phone one month ago (around the beginning of Nov.) but had no idea Sainz lived in poor conditions.
Police found Linda Sue Sainz on the floor of her house. The officer smelt decomposition, saw body fluids around the body and thought Sainz was dead until she blinked her eyes. There were maggots eating her flesh.
The latest report wrote that doctors at Mainland Medical Center said Linda Sue Sainz may not survive. Sainz’s condition is very serious.
