Who will win X Factor tonight on Sat, Dec 12? The X Factor winner is tipped to be a popular finalist, Joe McElderry, 18.

The polls have picked Joe McElderry as the winner. The polls from the age groups from 18 to 55 showed that Joe McElderry was a hot favorite.

The second favorite was Olly Murs. Murs is followed by Stacey Solomon.

Strangely, the polls showed the most popular singers as being McElderry, Solomon and Murs.

Stacey Solomon was eliminated as she received the lowest public votes. Solomon was gracious in her defeat. She said she was glad to have made it this far. Dannii Minogue, her mentor, was rumored to be getting replaced soon on X Factor. Cowell allegedly was in negotiations with Melanie “Mel B” to take over Minogue.

Olly Murs and Joe McElderry will compete head to head for the finals on Sunday, Dec 13.

Simon Cowell was elated that his prodigy made it to the finals.

Cheryl Cole had to comfort McElderry as he reacted to the extreme stress as he waited for the announcement on his name.
