Updated March 11 2010 – Willie Clark has been convicted by a jury. Clark’s sentencing will be due on April 30. Willie Clark faces a lifetime in prison.

Darrent Williams was killed on Jan. 1 2007. Willie D. Clark was indicted with the murder of Darrent Williams, as well as a total of 39 counts that included murder, assault, crimes of violence and a weapons violation. Darrent Williams, 24, was killed by bullets while he was inside a rented limo on Jan 1. 2007.

Williams and Willie D. Clark had a quarrel while they were in the Safari Club, in Denver. Eye witnesses said Clark followed Williams’ limo and fired 15 bullets into the car. Williams died from a fatal wound to his neck. His passengers, Nicole Reindl and Brandon Flowers were injured.

Willie Clark refused to testify in court. Clark claimed gang members threatened to harm him if he revealed any information.
