Willie Aames: Aames’ suicide attempt (photos)

Willie Aames said he tried to commit suicide during Thanksgiving. Aames lost his job, lost his wife and relocated to a rented room in L.A. Aames declared bankruptcy and his care was repossessed. Hiw wife of 22 years, Maylo Upton-Aames left him. Aames moved out of his home in Kansas and rented his room in L.A.

Willie Aames said he stole a bottle of Jack Daniels from his landlord and drank. Under the influence, he cut himself 6 times. Aames failed in his suicide attempt. Aames, the actor in “Charles in Charge” and “Eight Is Enough”, is now hanging on.
