William Wales: William Wales plane escorted by fighter jets (video/ photo)

William Wales, of Maine, was believed to have flown his small plane accidentally into restricted airspace near Washington DC. Wales was escorted away by two F-16 fighter jets on Friday, April 24.

President Obama was escorted away from the Capitol and led into a safe location. VP Joe Biden was also led to a safe place. These were measures of precaution.
