William Maxwell, a real estate developer, murdered his wife and two teenaged children before he committed suicide. Maxwell, of Fayetteville, North Carolina, fatally shot his family on Monday night, November 2.

William Maxwell, 47, Kathryn Maxwell, Connor Maxwell, 17, and Cameron Maxwell, 15, are all dead. The Maxwell family was religious and involved themselves in church activities.

William Maxwell developed residential properties in Cumberland and Harnett counties in NC. Maxwell owned two local car wash operations. Kathryn Maxwell was a housewife who taught Sunday school at the Synder Memorial Baptist Church in Fayetteville.
