Jada Pinkett Smith, Will Smith’s wife, is the lead actress and producer of “HawthoRNe.” Smith worked on “HawthoRNe” for 3 months while her husband took care of their kids.

Pinkett Smith said Will volunteered his services assisting as a ghost producer to structure the “HawthoRNe” episodes. If you’re a Will Smith fan, you should watch “HawthoRNe,” as he appears as an extra, doing a walk-by and drive-by.

“HawthoRNe” wraps up production this summer. Will Smith will travel to Beijing, China, to shoot “Karate Kid”, a remake, with his son, Jaden Smith. Will is the producer, while Jaden is the karate kid. Jackie Chan with be the martial arts master in the film.
