Ginsburg was ill after an infusion for iron sucrose. Ginsburg has iron deficiency. Ginsburg was sick when she complained of feeling faint and fatigued.

Ginsburg was hospitalized in the Washington Hospital Center at 7:45 pm.

Ginsburg was appointed by President Clinton in 1993. In February 2009, Ginsburg suffered pancreatic cancer. In July 2009, Ginsburg started having iron deficiency.
