Why Colin Egglesfield & Ashlee Simpson-Wentz are evicted from Melrose Place? Colin Egglesfield is being evicted from Melrose Place. Ashlee Simpson-Wentz is also booted from the show. Egglesfield and Simpson-Wentz’s characters, Auggie and Violet, will be seen for the final time in January 2010.

Auggie and Violet are involved in the murder plot in the show. When the murder mystery was solved, their characters weren’t important so they have been written out.

Colin Egglesfield & Ashlee Simpson-Wentz took the news coolly. They acted like professionals.

Heather Locklear is returning to Melrose Place on its episode to be aired on November 17. Locklear acted as Amanda in Melrose Place during the 1990s.
