Who won Hell’s Kitchen: Who won Hell’s Kitchen 2009
By Clarencia Cynrae on April 27th, 2009Who won Hell’s Kitchen 2009? Hell’s Kitchen had an unlikely winner in the form of Linda Evans. Evans, better known for her acting skills than her culinary art, won Hell’s Kitchen. Evans’ closest competitor was Ade Edmonson.
Linda Evans said she was shocked to win Hell’s Kitchen. Evans expected to do her lot and then go home. Evans said she wanted to relay the message that women could have a long life in TV. Evans, 66, said she thought her past career ended with Dynasty as she had not been active in acting since then.
Linda Evans and Ade Edmonson trained for 16 days under the tutelage of Marco Pierre White, Michelin’s star chef.
During the finale, the restaurant was divided into two sections. Evans had half while the other half went to Edmonson. Evans and Edmonson were permitted to choose two of the evicted former Hell’s Kitchen competitors to help them. Edmonson chose Niomi and Danielle Bux to assis him while Evans chose Anthea and Bruce to help her.
Linda Evans was described as bamboozled or mystified during the running of the pass. Anthea helped her.
Edmonson scored 9 out of 10 from the diners. Edmonson may have gotten a perfect 10 if not for a diner who had complained about his dish being overcooked and cold. Edmonson made a joke out of it and did not redo the order.
Evans scored 7 out of 10. Eventually, her fans saved her.
Congratulations to Linda Evans, the new winner of Hell’s Kitchen.
