White House Halloween: White House Halloween for children (photos/ video)

Some kids got to spend Halloween in the White House and they will remember this for the rest of their lives. The White House Halloween theme color was orange, following the tradition of the Great Pumpkin.
President Obama did not wear fancy dress at the White House Halloween party. The First Lady, Michelle Obama, dressed in a leopard print top and jacket assemble. Obama paid a compliment to his wife by saying she was a “nice looking Catwoman”.
At the White House Halloween, Mr and Mrs Obama distributed sweets, cookies, various confectionery and traditional Halloween goodies, to 2000 children. The kids came from Washington, Maryland and Virginia. The kids were dressed in Halloween costumes ranging from comic book superheroes, to pirates, skeletons and fairies.
The White House Halloween was all about tradition. The grounds of the White House had all the traditional trappings of the season. Pumpkins, spiders and entertainers littered the place. A music band was dressed as skeletons.
The children looked as though they had a great time at the White House Halloween party.
