What did Serena Williams say: What did Serena Williams say (video)

What did Serena Williams say to the line judge at the US Open 2009? Williams allegedly said “I’m going to shove this ball down your f- throat”.

Serena Williams said:

“I swear to God I’ll fucking take this ball and shove it down your f- throat! Do you hear me? I swear to God. You better be glad–you better be f- glad that I’m not, I swear.”

What started the fight? Serena Williams was called for a foot fault. Williams said she was unnecessarily blamed for a foot fault when her foot never touched the line when she served her ball to Kim Clijsters. Williams was mad at the line judge.

That was a chance Williams passed up when she couldn’t concentrate to continue the game. Williams carried on berating the line judge and when the chair umpire got involved, that was the death of the match.

Williams let lose profanities, threats, rude finger pointing and she was in turn accused of threatening to kill the lines judge. Williams became a tennis court terrorist. Williams denied it, telling the umpire, “I didn’t say I would kill you (the line judge).”

Williams was given a penalty point for conduct violation. Kim Clijsters won the match 6-4, 7-5.
