Lil Wayne, aka Dwayne Carter Jr, said that the gun found on his tour bus in July 2007 belonged to his manager, Cortez Bryant. The gun is registered to Cortez Bryant. Carter challenged the method used to get DNA results that allegedly connected him to the gun. Carter said the officer conducted an illegal search of his tour bus. Bruce Budowle, a former FBI geneticist, was hired by Carter to help his disprove the NY police wrong.
