Wayman Tisdale, ex NBA player, and now an award-winning jazz musician, had part of his right leg amputated on Monday, August 25, 2008.

Wayman Tisdale’s leg was amputated because of bone cancer. Wayman Tisdale, was told that remmoving part of his right leg was the way to ensure that the cancer wuld not return. Regina Tisdale reported that her husband had surgery and everything went well.
