Wade Whitcomb, of North Syracuse, once said he shipped himself in a crate on board a cargo plane. Whitcomb posted videos online that allegedly showed himself in a crate. Whitcomb had declared he mailed himself from New York to Las Vegas in the 25 hour trip.

FBI were concerned about the violations in security and interviewed Wade Whitcomb. FBI established Whitcomb’s stunt was a hoax and publicity event.

Whitcomb is a magician who uses the stage name Wade Live. Wade Live claimed he did the stunt to publicize his friend’s website. The UPS, TSA and FBI investigated Whitcomb’s claim but they could not find evidence to support it.
