Veronica Peck, the widow of Gregory Peck, brought Michael Jackson to Natalie Maines’ Halloween Party. Natalie Maines, the lead singer of Dixie Chicks, told this story to Howard Stern, the radio show host.

Many Halloween party goers assumed he was someone dressed as Michael Jackson in a Jackson costume. Even the DJ assumed that it was a gag and started playing the song Thriller when he saw MJ walk in. Jackson brought his three children. Natalie Maines praised the children and said they were confident and well adjusted. Maines said Jackson had many handlers. Maines said ““I think maybe he’s stuck in time as a child,” she replied. “I felt like maybe he’s a child.”
