Vernita Lee, Oprah Winfrey’s mother, sued by Valentina Inc
By Clarencia Cynrae on September 4th, 2008Vernita Lee, Oprah Winfrey’s mother, was sued for $155 K. Vernita Lee was sued by a clothing store, Valentina Inc, in Brookfield, Wisconsin.
Vernita Lee said she did not owe the store any money Vernita Lee has hired three lawyers. Valentina Inc has sued because Vernita Lee did not pay the bill in $2000 increments, as was arranged earlier.
