Judge Arthur Spatt said that Varsha Sabhnani treated her maids Samirah and Enung “less than people.”

Varsha Sabhnani has to do 3 years probation & pay a $25,000 fine. Varsha Sabhnani’s husband, Mahender Sabhnani, 51, cried when he heard the sentence. Mahender Sabhnani’s sentence will be announced on Fri. June 27 2008.

Mahender Sabhnani was charged with the same crimes as his wife, Varsha Sabhnani.
