President George W Bush and his father, former president George Bush Sr, were at the Naval Station Norfolk,in Virginia, to commission the new ship. This ship was named in honor of George Bush Sr. The USS George H. W. Bush is a new aircraft carrier. The senior Bush was a decorated Navy pilot who fought in World War II.

In his speech, Pres. George Bush discussed about the merits of the USS George H. W. Bush. Bush gave a talk on the honor of the fighting troops.
