The aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln and guided missile destroyers USS Momsen and the USS Shoup returned to their home base, Everett on Sunday, Oct 12. These three ships had a total of about 3500 personnel who served 7 months in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The families of the service men and women on board the USS Abraham Lincoln, USS Momsen, and USS Shoup traveled to Everett to see their loved ones.

Everett is the county seat and largest city in Snohomish County, Washington. Everett is located 25 miles (40 km) north of Seattle.
