Urvashi Dhanorkar, an actress in India, has been arrested on Saturday, August 22. Urvashi Dhanorkar was accused of physically abusing her domestic help, a maid who was 10 years old.

The girl claimed she was tortured by her employer, Urvashi Dhanorkar. She said she had suffered abuse for the past 6 months. She showed some physical marks of injury. Medical reports supported the victim’s claim.

Urvashi Dhanorkar’s lawyer claimed the domestic maid lied about the nature of her injuries. He claimed the maid’s wounds were accidental.

Urvashi Dhanorkar was released from jail on a bail of 10,000 Rupees.
