University of Kentucky Obama effigy: Obama Effigy & Palin Effigy

University of Kentucky on Wednesday discovered an effigy of Barack Obama hanging from a tree on campus. University of Kentucky police took down the effigy. The University of Kentucky President, Lee Todd, said he will apologize to the Obama family. Lee Todd criticized the use of this effigy. Mike Lynch, of the University of Kentucky faculty member, said he saw the effigy on the tree at 8:40 am. Lynch said the effigy was life sized, had a Halloween mask with a Obama face, wore sweat pants and a suit jacket.

In West Hollywood, the effigy of Sarah Palin hangs from the house of ChadMichael Morrisette. The police and other authorities have taken note of this and are watching the house and reactions to the Palin effigy. The Palin effigy did not cause the same reaction as the Obama effigy.

    Why weren’t those hanging effigies of Palin and McCain arrested? I find those acts just as despicable as the hanging of an Obama effigy. Double standard?

    They weren’t arrested because, as they themselves said “Hanging a wife woman is a lot better than hanging a black man.” Tpical liberal BS double standard.
