Barry Avrich is making a documentary about Harvey Weinstein called “Unauthorized: The Harvey Weinstein Project”. As the title suggests, Weinstein has refused to cooperate so the movie is an unauthorized version of the events.

Since Weinstein couldn’t stop Avrich from making the film, he has asked a celebrated director, Quentin Tarantino, to make an alternative movie on his life, which, of course, would be approved by him. Weinstein hopes to bury Avrich’s unauthorized film with this clever marketing move.
