Tyrese Gibson was on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Kimmel and Gibson made some small talk. Tyrese Gibson said he lost 40 pounds.

Gibson was promoting his new movie, Death Race. Tyrese Gibson promised to take the whole audience to a free screening of Death Race. Tyrese did not inform the theater first before he made the announcment so those who went to the cinema immediately were denied free entry. There was a joke about fans racing down to the cinema hall too quickly like as if in a death race because the free entry was limited to the seating capacity of the hall. Fans who showed up closer to the targetted showtime were surprised when Tyrese Gibson was also present to meet and greet them at the theater!
