Tsuyoshi Kusanagi: Tsuyoshi Kusanagi arrested for indecent exposure

Tsuyoshi Kusanagi, 34, the singer for SMAP, was arrested. Kusanagi was arrested after he stripped off his clothes. Kusanagi was arrested by police at 3 am, April 23. Kusanagi had removed his clothes in a public place, in Hinokicho Park in Akasaka,Tokyo. Consequently, Kusanagi was arrested for indecent exposure.

The Japanese government stopped using all ads that featured Kusanagi. Toyota Motor Corp also stopped using ads with Kusanagi.

Tsuyoshi Kusanagi’s management agent, Johnny’s and Associates Inc, apologized for the problems. SMAP’s music is sold by a subsidiary of JVC Kenwood Holdings. Its shares fell but recovered to rise by 3.3 % higher than its starting at the close of the day.
