Dec 21 2009 – Krishna and Trishna were discharged from hospital barley 5 weeks after their operation which separated them. Trishna & Krishna turn 3 years old on Dec 22. Trishna & Krishna are now under the legal care of Moira Kelly. Trishna & Krishna will continue to receive medical care as out patients of the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne.

Nov 17 2009 – Trishna and Krishna have been separated successfully. Trishna and Krishna have lived through the initial stages of separation. Doctors have begun the reconstructive surgeries to repair the skulls and do other work to help Trishna and Krishna recover.

Trishna and Krishna are a pair of conjoined twins born in Bangladesh. Trishna and Krishna have remained conjoined at the top of their heads for 2 years. Trishna and Krishna were sent to Australia for the critical operation to separate them. On Monday, November 16, Trishna and Krishna were operated on to get separated.

Trishna and Krishna have been staying in Australia since 2007. The “Children First Foundation” group sponsored Trishna and Krishna’s journey to Australia. The twins had preliminary operations to prepare them for the final separation.

Trishna and Krishna have a 25% chance of success at separation, 25% chance of one of them dying and 50% of suffering brain damage after the delicate surgery.
