There was a theft in Trinity Lutheran School. Three girls in seventh grade were instructed to strip down to their underwear. The teacher suspected them of misappropriating $42. Three parents reported the incident to the police about the strip search conducted on Oct. 1. Trinity Lutheran School is 35 miles SW of Detriot.

Police have interviewed the girls who stripped. The young minors told police they were ordered to remove their clothes. The teacher who searched the girls is still on active duty while the principal has been placed on leave for a fortnight. The investigation into the alleged strip search continues.
