Travis Barker & Thelma Still: Barker & Still sue on crash
By Clarencia Cynrae on November 22nd, 2008Travis Barker has filed a lawsuit to sue Bombardier Inc., Clay Lacy Aviation and Goodyear Tire and Rubber. Travis claimed they were responsible for the plane crash that injured him and killed tow of his friends, in addition to killing the pilot and co-pilot. Travis Barker and the mother of one of his dead friends filed the lawsuit. Charles “Che” Still’s mother, Thelma Martin Still, has joined forces with Barker.
Travis Barker and Thelma Martin Still used findings from investigations to claim that one of more of the plane’s tires failed and left tire debris and plane debris along the runway. The light plane, a Learjet, allegedly crashed because of the failings.
Clay Lacy Aviation was sued because the pilot’s decision to abort takeoff was unsuccessful and it was a breach of duty to the passengers. Briefly, the hardware and the human errors were claimed to be causes for the crash.
