Traci Rhode was convicted of killing her husband, Scott Rhode. Traci Rhode was alleged to have shot dead Scott in October 2003.

Scott Rhode was killed by a gun that was fired through a pillow resting on his head.

Traci said she was innocent. Traci said Scott Rhode fatally shot himself. Traci Rhode received a 10 year probated sentence. Traci appealed against her conviction. On March 5, 2009, the Thirteenth Court of Appeals dismissed Traci Rhode’s appeal.

Traci Lynn Rhode, 38, had worked as a nurse for the past 18 years. Rhode’s nursing license has been suspended.
