Tonya Harding is famous for two scandals. Harding had a sex tape with her former husband, Jeff Gillooly. Harding’s sex video was called the “Wedding Video” and it was taped in the 1990s. Penthouse published it in September 1994.

Tonya Harding is also famous for her alleged conspiracy to kill or injure Nancy Kerrigan, her competitor in figure skating. Harding was up against Kerrigan in 1994 Championships. Harding’s former husband hired Shane Stant to injure Kerrigan to force her out of the figure skating contest.

This year is the 15th anniversary of Tonya Harding’s scandal with Nancy Kerrigan. In the latest TV documentary, HBO Real Sports, Harding said she has paid her dues. Harding said she wanted to move on and asked why society still punishes her.
