Updated July 10 2009 – Prosecutors alleged Tony Alamo exchanged wedding vows and rings with the girls he had relationships with. Alamo’s defense lawyers have filed a set of motions to ban the use of words like cult, polygamy and compound at the trial. Tony Alamo’s trial starts Monday, July 13.

The Tony Alamo Christian Ministries complex was visited by social workers. Critics call the Tony Alamo Christian Ministries a cult. Tom Brown, an FBI officer of Little Rock, Arkansas, said children living in the Tony Alamo complex were being interviewed.

The Tony Alamo Christian Ministries children were suspected of being abused sexually and physically. Tony Alamo may be arrested later if the warrant is issued. FBI and Arkansas State authorities raided the Tony Alamo Christian Ministries complex one hour before sundown. FBI suspected child pornography was being produced at the Tony Alamo Christian Ministries complex.

Tony Alamo was away in L.A. Alamo called the press from his friend’s pad in LA. Alamo denied making child porn. Tony Alamo Christian Ministries were suspected by the locals of being involved in child abuse, polygamous marriages and underage marriages.
