Toni Braxton, 41, missed the season finale of Dancing with the Stars on November 25, 2008. Braxton was recuperating from a breast surgery. Braxton had an operation to remove a tumor from her breast. Braxton’s doctors discovered a lump in her breast during a routine checkup in August 2008. When Braxton returned for a follow-up check in October, her doctors informed her that it was time to remove the benign (harmless) tumor. Braxton said she was fortunate to have it discovered early.
