Tommy Page was a convict who had served a sentence in prison. Page was convicted and sentenced for killing a man in Nashville, in 1995. Page had served part of his sentence when he was released.

Page was arrested and charged with another crime allegedly committed on March 4, 2009. Page was accused of shooting dead Wayne Moore, at an apartment, in Litton Avenue, of Nashville, Tennessee.

Police said Tommy Page and another man, Stephen Lowery, had a dispute with Wayne Moore, over a debt.
