Melody Ross, 16, was fatally shot at Woodrow Wilson High School on October 30. Ross was an innocent bystander at the school after a homecoming football game. Ross, an honor student, was caught in the gunfire at the school in Long Beach.

The suspects in the shooting are Tom Love Vinson, 16, and Daivion Davis, also 16. Vinson and Davis were charged in court on Friday, November 6. Davis and Vinson faced murder and attempted murder charges.

Vinson and Davis were members of rival gangs who had a confrontation on Oct 30. Both Davis and Vinson were not students from Woodrow Wilson High School.

Two other victims of the shooting were sent to hospital. A man, 18, and another man, 20, are recovering in hospital.

Vinson and Davis are being detained. Bail for Vinson and Davis were set at $3 million each.
