Tom Gosinski claimed that Cindy McCain used a health charity, to obtain her prescription drugs. Tom Gosinski alleged that John McCain knew about is wife’s addiction and tried to hide the facts.

Cindy McCain, John McCain:

The story about Cindy McCain’s abuse of prescription drugs broke out in 1994 and Sen. McCain claimed he only discovered it recently. Gosinski recorded in his journal on July 27, 1992, that he wondered why McCain did nothing to fix Cindy’s problem. Gosinski speculated that McCain did not see it as a problem or he chose not to tackle it. Tom Gosinski speculated that Cindy McCain gave her daughter, Meghan McCain, prescription drugs to calm her. Many claims in Gosinski’s stories could not be verified. Gosinski was asked if he thought Cindy McCain has indeed kicked her drug habit. Gosinski was doubtful as he mentioned Cindy McCain looked glassy-eyed in one of her speeches last week.
