Tom Braden, a former CIA agent turned media person, has died. Braden was a newspaper columnist, co-host of a talk show called “Crossfire” and write of a memoir called “Eight Is Enough”. Braden died on Friday, April 3. Braden was 92 when he died at home in Denver.

Braden’s memoir became adapted for the TV comedy-drama series of the same name, ”Eight is Enough”. This TV series ran from 1977 to 1981.

Braden’s wife, Joan Braden, died in 1999. His son Tommy Braden, died in 1994. Tom Braden’s surviving children are David Braden of Taipei, Taiwan; Mary Poole of Alexandria, Va.; Susan Braden of Takoma Park, Md.; Joannie Braden, Nancy Basta and Elizabeth Braden, all of Denver; and Nicholas Braden of Washington, D.C. Tom Braden left behind 12 grandchildren.
