The Toledo Blade reported on Thur. that “Joe the Plumber’s” name appears on Ohio voter registration rolls with a misspelling. Joe the plumber’s surname became Worzelbacher, not Wurzelbacher. A different video interview with Joe the Plumber is here.

Joe the plumber, aka Samuel Joseph Wurzelbache, might not be eligible to vote. It depends on how the authorities sort this one out.

Is Joe the plumber legitimate? Toledo Blade reported that a check of state and local licensing agencies in Ohio and Michigan shows no plumbing licenses under Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher’s name or in any names similar to his name, taking into account the probability of misspelling errors. Toledo Blade digs pay dirt on Joe the plumber! Did McCain check this Joe the plumber out before using him as a valid example?

Samuel Joseph Wurzelbache said he worked for Newell Plumbing & Heating Co., a small local firm. Now, that firm may get some heat as it was revealed it does not have the right to work in other counties if it does not have valid county licences.

Toledo Blade.

The Voting records showed that Samuel Joseph Worzelbacher, with an incorrect spelling, voted Republican in the March primaries earlier in 2008.

Samuel Joseph Wurzelbache has a tax lien pending against him for $1,182.92
