Betty Wright, wife of gospel singer, Timothy Wright, died on Sat. July 5. On Sunday, July 6, a memorial service was held for Betty Wright. Timothy Wright remained in hospital to recuperate from serious injuries.

James Gaylord, a bishop of Grace Tabernacle Christian Center Church of God in Christ in Brooklyn, took over the church’s management in the absence of Reverend Timothy Wright.

During the memorial service, one parishioner was so distraught that she was overcome with grief.
