By Clarencia Cynrae on October 28th, 2008

Penny Brown, 31, died a long time ago. Penny Brown’s body was found in the trunk of her brother’s car. Brown was wrapped in quilts and then wrapped in construction quality plastic. The car was abandoned in St. Louis. Police have started searching for Penny’s brother, Timothy Allen Brown, 30, or Georgetown. Timothy Brown abandoned his car in St. Louis last week. Police arranged for the car to be towed back to Kentucky, where they then opened it to search the inside.

Before the discovery of Penny Brown’s body, Social Service workers visited Timothy Allen Brown and found the apartment dirty and unhygienic. They removed Timothy Brown’s son, aged 8. The child mentioned Aunt Penny and a police officer visited Brown’s apartment. Timothy Brown disappeared after that. Police said Timothy Brown probably kept his sister Penny in her bedroom for 2 years after she died. Timothy Brown had signed his sister out of her nursing home in 2006.

John Goble, the state coroner, said Penny Brown’s body was decomposed after 2 years. It would be very difficult to determine the cause of her death.

Penny Brown was a disabled woman who used a wheelchair. The authorities refused to elaborate further.
