Tiffany Wright, 15, was fatally shot on Monday, Sep 14. Tiffany Wright was pregnant when she was killed at a bus stop in North Carolina. Wright was shot in the head in Charlotte, NC. Wright was found to be 32 weeks into her pregnancy.

Wright was at the bus stop to go to school. Wright had enrolled in a special school with a program for pregnant teens.

Wright was sent to hospital, where she died of her injury. Wright’s baby was delivered and is in a critical condition. The motive for shooting Wright to death was a domestic dispute. Police are hunting down the suspect.

Tiffany Wright’s foster mother accompanied her to the bus stop. The mother returned home and then she heard gunshots. She went out to look and saw Wright was injured.

Royce Mitchell, 36, Wright’s brother in her adoptive family, is a person of interest in her shooting death. Investigators are trying to discover if Mitchell is the father of Wright’s baby.

Mitchell had been under investigation for allegedly raping his adoptive sister. Rape charges were not formulated against Mitchell until after Wright’s death. Mitchell has been detained without bond.

Alma Faye Wright adopted Tiffany Wright but she died in January when she was 77. Wright then went to live with Royce Mitchell, Alma Faye Wright’s son. Three weeks later, Tiffany Wright was placed in foster care.
