TI out of jail: TI free released
By Clarencia Cynrae on December 22nd, 2009TI, or Clifford Harris, s released and out of jail. TI was transferred out of his Arkansas jail and released into a halfway house in Georgia. TI’s lawyer confirmed he was out of jail and inside a halfway house.
TI has to live in the halfway house for 2-3 months. TI can do certain approved activities during the day and leave the halfway house for work/ medical reasons/ other approved activities. TI reports back to the halfway house in the evenings. TI will re-enter into society slowly via the halfway house.
TI will be out of the halfway house by May 2010 or as soon as March 2010. TI was free to be released into a halfway house because he showed good behavior in jail. There were also other factors which made the authorities decide to release TI into a halfway house early, rather than later.
After TI’s release from the halfway house, he has to spend one year (or 23 days) in house arrest and two years on probation.
TI has served 1000 hours of community service and has another 500 hours to do after his release. He was fined $100,000 for his conviction on gun charges in 2007.
