Sarah Palin/ the State of Alaska, has hired a lawyer, Thomas V. Van Flein, to represent her.

Palin is being investigated on whether she was involved in the dismissal of Walt Monegan, the public safety commissioner, after he refused to fire a state trooper. The said trooper had divorced Sarah Palin’s sister.
