Thomas Spargo: Ex NY Supreme Court Judge Spargo’s corruption charges

Thomas Spargo, 65, is accused of bribery. Spargo, a former Supreme Court judge in NY, faces corruption charges. Spargo is alleged to have solicited a $10,000 bribe from a lawyer who had a case before him.

A commission removed Thomas Spargo from the Supreme Court in 2006. This oversight commission determined that Spargo had actively raised funds for his personal gains. Spargo was accused of soliciting money from lawyers with cases before him. Thomas Spargo’s lawyer has refused to comment on the investigation.
