Doug Georgianni, 51, worked as a photo radar unit operator. On Monday, April 20, Georgianni was fatally shot at his work post. Police have arrested Thomas Patrick Destories, 68.

Destories was booked into a jail in Phoenix. Destories shot Georgianni from his vehicle. The camera captured the image of Destories’ vehicle and an officer recognized it. Police do not know Destories’ motive for the shooting.
